Welcome to a different view on Pregnancy and Birth!

I hope to inspire women to see their bodies a beautiful and capable vessels in childbirth. To see the end of the oppression of women in birthing situations by hospitals, Obs, and midwives. To see birth how God intented it to be...intimate.

Pelvic Floor Release

I hear so many good things about PELVIC FLOOR RELEASE during labor. Spinning babies has a great write up about it. Also I asked Spinning Babies about the Open Knee Chest position for ROT (Right Occiput Transverse) position and this is what they said
Spinning Babies Yes, but for a Transverse Arrest (stuck in either R or L OT position) precede it with the forward-leaning inversion for 30 secs and then the sidelying release on BOTH sides for 2-3 contractions (and between) on EACH SIDE, then this for up to 40 minutes (maybe less, maybe not, see). Then get vertical again. If more is needed, lunges through 6 cx on each side, but resting and moving legs inbetween lunges.
This is good to know because there is not a lot of info out there on ROT or transverse arrest. I wish I had known this before because my last baby was stuck in the ROT position in transverse arrest and he was born via c-section after 24 hrs of labor.
